A to Z
- Adhesive nipple cover
- A silicone nipple cover with a medical-grade, hypoallergenic adhesive on the back, so it sticks to your skin and stays put under loose, flowy and backless outfits. Reusable; ours last up to 50 wears with care. More
- Adhesive-free center
- See Nip-Safe.
- Boob tape (breast lift tape, body tape)
- Wide, stretchy adhesive tape cut into strips and applied from under the breast upward to lift, shape and support. Single use. Removed with oil. The only product in our range that lifts. More
- Bra alternative
- Anything that does part of a bra's job without a bra: covers for coverage, tape for lift, a sticky bra for cleavage, inserts for volume.
- Compression (fitted clothing)
- What non-adhesive covers need to stay on. A garment tight enough to press the cover against your skin: a bodysuit, sports bra, swimsuit or snug top.
- Disposable pasty
- A fabric nipple cover with light adhesive, worn once. Ours are satin, one size (2.5in/6.5cm across), twenty pairs a pack. More
- Hypoallergenic
- Made from materials chosen to keep the chance of a reaction low. Our silicone covers are hypoallergenic, medical-grade silicone, and every product that sticks to skin uses a hypoallergenic, medical-grade adhesive. Everything we make is latex-free, vegan and cruelty-free. It doesn't mean no one ever reacts, which is why we suggest a patch test.
- Invisible lingerie tape
- Clear, double-sided tape strips that hold clothing to skin or fabric: gaping necklines, slipping straps, button gaps. A garment product, not a body product. More
- Lift tabs
- The extensions above a lifting nipple cover that stick higher on the breast and pull it gently upward. Two-tab and one-tab versions. The outfit has to cover them.
- Lifting nipple cover
- An adhesive cover with lift tabs. A gentle lift and shape on small to medium breasts under high necklines, and the Two-Tab in Large can work on a D or DD with a smaller band, for shape and light support under a structured top. Not a substitute for tape on a heavier bust. More
- Matte finish
- A non-shiny silicone surface. Shine is what shows under fabric and in flash photos; matte doesn't.
- Medical-grade silicone
- Silicone made to the standard used for products that sit on skin for long periods. All our silicone covers and the sticky bra are made from it, and every product that sticks to skin uses a hypoallergenic, medical-grade adhesive.
- Nip-Safe
- Our name for the adhesive-free center on Sensitive nipple covers. The adhesive sits on an outer ring; the middle, where the nipple is, has none, so nothing sticky touches it and removal doesn't pull on it. More
- Non-adhesive nipple cover
- A silicone cover with no adhesive at all. It holds with gentle suction and body heat and needs fitted clothing to stay in place. Lasts 100+ wears. More
- Pack-flat design
- The way our Silicone Sticky Bra stores: flat on its backing sheet rather than folded, so the cups keep their shape.
- Patch test
- Wearing the whole cover or pasty (or a small piece of tape) on the inside of your forearm for 30 minutes to an hour, then checking the skin a few hours later, before wearing it where it matters. Tape and pasties come off with oil. More
- Push-up inserts
- Soft foam pads with double-sided adhesive that sit inside a bra, bikini top or structured dress to add volume and push-up. They need the garment to work. More
- Remover oil
- A plant-based oil (ours is made with coconut, sweet almond and jojoba oils) that breaks down tape adhesive so it peels off gently. For use on intact skin. More
- Shade
- The color of a cover or tape. Ours come in five: Creme, Honey, Caramel, Cocoa, Mocha, from lightest to deepest. More
- Silicone sticky bra
- Two adhesive silicone cups joined by a center clasp. Apply each cup to the outer breast, then clasp to gather inward for cleavage. It shapes; it does not lift. More
- Size (nipple covers)
- The diameter of the cover. Round covers: Small (3in/8cm), Large (4in/10cm), X-Large (5in/12cm). Lifting covers (Two-Tabs): Small (3.5in/9cm), Regular (4.25in/11cm), Large (5in/13cm). Easy Lifting covers (One Tab): Small (3.5in/9cm) and Large (4.25in/11cm). More
- Suction
- How a non-adhesive cover holds: pressed onto warm skin, it seals against it, and the garment keeps it there.
- Tapered edge
- An edge that thins out to almost nothing so the cover blends into the skin instead of leaving a ridge under fabric.
- Triangle nipple cover
- A smaller, triangular cover that can be rotated to sit inside low, square or plunging necklines where a round cover would show. Adhesive, non-adhesive and sensitive versions. More
- Wear count
- How many times a reusable cover can be worn with proper care. It differs by product: up to 50 for adhesive silicone, 100+ for non-adhesive. Tape, pasties and lingerie tape are single use. More
